I am not from Münster either. Just hoped that natives of that city might be on this raft and help foreigners like you and me to find a decent place.

Well, wouldn't be surprised if some of Mr Irish Bastard, who are from Münster, might help you/us out here.
Anyhow,this Schloss is about a mile from the city centre, so finding one bar or another is no major problem.
What time do The Pogues play anyway? And whay about support band?

I visited Munster several times to see THE POGUES throughout the 80s und the 90s,its not the worst town or city in Germany not by a long chalk.Do any other fans remember those shows in Munster or anywhere in Germany for that matter?Hope i can get over there for some of them.

There's a lovely lil street with almost a dozen of pubs in Jüdefelder Straße. It's only a 4 or 5 minutes walk from the Schlossplatz. Gotta check google-maps or something.

there is no such thing as a lovely zoo...animals in cages...what is lovely about that?

The lovely thing is that there are as few cages as possible. Another lovely thing is the fact that some of those species held captive only survive because there are zoos.

the guys from Mr IB will be to busy to see us round the city,
their's is the privilege to open for The Pogues,
which is good news as such, but leaves us without guides.

So who will be in Münster:

I will most certainly be in Munster,via Amsterdam Schipol ,Enschede,with my toothbrush and my Good brass rubbing guide!
