Ah yes, the Manchester Meet thread-without-end. What would Christmas be without it?

It seems to have had its arse kicked by Sheffield this year. Well, well, how things do change...

Sorry Rich, not going this year, Sheffield instead for me.

Incidently, there used to be a great pub right next to the Apollo, can't remember the name of it, but used to go into it before every gig I went to there back in the day. It's probably long since gone or been turned into a wine bar or over run by druggies, street gangs or something. Just thought I'd mention it.

I think that would probably have been The Church. On the other side of the little park, to the right of the Apollo.

I don't remember a park, all I remember is the pub (not unusual). I think it may have been behind the Apollo, or am I getting confused with Ma Egerton's which is behind the Liverpool Empire?
