Ugh. At least his mention in the documents is along the lines of "he was on the airplane and was nice. Epstein made me touch Matt's old-man feet. They were gross, but Matt was gracious." Or something along those lines. I was dreading that it would be more along the lines of "and then there was Matt Groening and the scat-play." Sooo ... Less bad than I'd feared! Winning?

Yeah, I imagine the father and brother held on to those personalized drawings too.

I have a relative who was one of the (many) babies held by Governor Clinton during his campaign.

Used to take young relatives to Comic-Con and told a story here about how the kids didn’t recognize Groening (who was doodling pictures for fans on the aisle before his panel started), so I said The big guy with the beard in the grey t-shirt. They came back asking ...Which big guy with a beard in the grey t-shirt? I told them to sit their asses down.

So, officially, that kid only interacted with one of Epstein’s buddies.
Great.

The scope of this thing is amazing. One of the men accused, the late Marvin Minsky, I had met at work. Genius of a guy. The head of MIT's Media Lab Prof. Joichi Ito's was a buddy of Epstein's and there is serious fallout about that.

Another interesting thing is the whole way Epstein came about his fortune. Looks like he was second only to Madoff for being a swindler. The head of Victoria's Secret, Les Wexner is alleging that Epstein stole millions from him.

I did enjoy Stephen Colbert's response to the Justin Trudeau brown/blackface affair:

Nope. Orange-face. It's an affront to Oompa-Loompas everywhere.

There has been no President in the history of our Country who has been treated so badly as I have.

No need to be coy about your admiration, always jumping in to help any Trumper “nearly cyber-bullied” on here.

Basically, the Democrats (of which I am registered) have just admitted they can't win the 2020 Election. This will be good for Frances, she can go on ranting until 2024.

Just an observation. I live on the border of New Hampshire, the first state that will have a Primary Election. The only two candidates that I have seen signs for are Trump (who is basically running unopposed, unless you count former MA Governor, drunk and friend of the Bulgers (Whitey and Billy) a serious candidate) and Tulsi Gabbard. I have seen a ton of signs for her.

I think the Left (if his crazy despicable son Hunter hasn't done so already) is going to do everything to take down Biden, who is the only Democrat Candidate who could possibly win.

“Today I come with a heavy heart, deeply concerned about the future of our Democracy. And I'm not alone. People approach me everywhere I go, whether I am traveling back and forth to Atlanta or around our country. They believe, they truly believe that our nation is descending into darkness.

They never dreamed that the United States, once seen as a beacon of hope and as an inspiration to people striving for equality and justice would be falling into such disgrace.

I share their concern for the future of our country. It keeps me up at night. We took an oath to protect this nation against all domestic enemies and foreign enemies. Sometimes I am afraid to go to sleep for fear that I will wake up and our Democracy will be gone and never return.

Every turn this administration demonstrates disdain and disregard for the Law and for the Constitution. They have lied under oath. They refuse to account for their actions and appear before the legislative body who have the Constitutional right to inquire about their activities.

The people have a right to inquire. They have a right to know. The people have a right to know whether they can put their faith and trust in the outcome of our election. They have a right to know whether the cornerstone of our Democracy was undermined by people sitting in the White House today. They have a right to know whether a foreign power were asked to intervene in the 2020 election. They have a right to know whether the President is using his office to line his pockets.

Mr. Speaker, the people of this nation realize that if they had committed even half of the possible violations, the Federal Government would be swift to seek justice. We cannot delay. We must not wait. Now is the time to act.

I have been patient while we have used every other path and tool. We will never find the truth unless we use the power given to the House of Representatives and the House alone to begin an official investigation as dictated by the Constitution. The future of our Democracy is at stake.

There comes a time when you have to be moved by the spirit of history to take action to protect and preserve the integrity of our nation. I believe, I truly believe the time to begin impeachment proceedings against this President has come. To delay or to do otherwise would betray the foundation of our Democracy.”

Rep. Lewis is a great American.

You either see truth in those words or you don’t but Democrats (and others) who do are willing to bring a far more lucid man up to bat who will undoubtedly work against our beliefs on many matters. Still, that is preferable to enduring a mentally ill, treasonous, racist, sub-moronic, toilet tweeting, shyster criminal like Trump. I’ve had plenty of conversations with people about how Trump made McCain seem like someone you’d vote for, had he not passed. So called lefties seeing the humanity and dignity of opposing party members who actually protested Trump’s inhumanity.

A Democrat who jumped ship and voted for Trump(?) over Clinton and calls people lefties? No surprise that you count Warren out already.

There has to be a pathology. People who voted for Trump refuse to admit it was a mistake or that this POS is degrading the Presidency and our country. That a fool who got elected via outside entities tampering with one election was dumb enough to try it again.

The least racist (and sexist) President who just says the most racist things on a continuous basis and his least racist (or sexist) supporters who are being so unfairly targeted by ranting lefties.

... and so you can imagine the humiliation of the average Canadian to have to listen to him on the Justin Trudeau brown & blackface scandal: "I'm surprised, I was more surprised when I saw the number of times." Shit, that's gotta be the first time I've ever agreed with the dirtbag! Way to hand the moral highground over to a racist Oompa Loompa, Justin.

Just stop to let people vote to choose their president. Finally do like many decent countries and let smaller people-elected douchebags decide who’ll be the president. I swear it works better

“1974 - After Richard Nixon resigns and Ford assumes the presidency, Ford nominates Nelson Rockefeller to be vice president.”

Now, if Pence were to be impeached also and Pelosi became President does she nominate the Vice President? Or do they follow a line of succession?

Dang.
