Thanks for the heads up. Matthews certainly steered us in the right direction for a nice dinner in Paris. Just happened to see his review in the Delta magazine on the trip over for the Pogues shows last September and snagged a table one of our last nights in town. We had the same waiter that served Bush's dog.

Interesting that the bar claims to be the place JFK proposed. Booth #1 or something. I stayed at Boston's Omni Parker House recently and they, quite reasonably, beg to differ. Money makes the world...

Presidents from Truman to 42 have visited that bar, Obama hasn't of yet. There's a great picture of a crocked Brian Williams in their gallery.
