I just realized that the Chia looks like Warren Beatty.

The White House twitter posted a picture of President Obama skeet shooting?

No. Just, no.
Such a ham-fisted mistake it makes me cringe. :(

This has nothing to do with trying to get Obama. The GOP has started their 2016 White House run by throwing whatever they can at Hillary to see what sticks. This is just the start of their campaign.

Oh, NJR, I do regret we weren't able to make the schedules work last week.

Gubment tapping phone lines (of the press, or otherwise)? Yep. Outrageous. I'm with you buddy. Were you just as offended by the Patriot Act (and PA2)? What about the overuse of "National Security letters" by both the Bush and Obama administrations?

Bureaucratic abuse and/or intimidation of a particular group (or of a set of groups with a shared belief that runs contrary to those held by The Man)? Yep. Also outrageous. Still with you. I don't see, however, how this is unique to the Obama administration.

Benghazi? I'm with Philip on this one. Mistakes were made. People died. Clumsy attempts at spin control were probably had. I don't see where the crazy outrage comes from on this one, other than that people died and there should be much insistence that "lessons be learned!" and "processes improved!" The failed spin control? I find that hard to get worked up about since every organization (government or otherwise) attempts to spin events that make it look bad. It's a thing that happens.

I am going to delve into this one. IMO Benghazi is a bit more than "failed spin control". A failure to recognize and respond to a dangerous situation by the higher ups in the State Dept (i.e. Hillary). The scary thing about our government is the total failure of taking responsibility and standing up and admitting a screw up or taking charge and holding people responsible. BO should have demanded Hillary's resignation. It is a shame that this great country has suffered through four terms (Bush and Obama) of dangerously incompentent leaders.

If you got from my words that the problem is failed spin control then I poorly expressed my sentiment.

What led up to the events, and how things were handled on the ground ... Yeah, that sucks. And I think I said so above - outrage should come from that people died, and that lessons of the failure should be learned, people held accountable, etc. But what I seem to see a lot of is "ZOMG!!!1! Rice totes said it was a riot when it was TOTES terroristicists! LIES!" Which is to say that appears (to me at least) that what people are freaking out over is the botched spin control, not the fact that security processes and strategies failed.
