Don't get me wrong, we love Mr. Moore in this household! Followed him since Roger & Me.
Roger & Me is great. I forgot about Fahrenheit 9/11.

The thing is his documentaries can afford to buy the actual footage of events such as the Columbine mass shooting or W. Bush sitting there in that elementary class, doing nothing in response to the 9/11 attacks. He has his agenda, but I’m not sure I agree with those that say he outright manipulates his subject matter. That’s just an easy way to write off the entire content of his films. I’ve heard people say that they don’t like his gonzo-jump out at them approach to some of his interview subjects. What? These people are praying nobody has the nerve to question their conduct.
He was something of an American folk hero back in the day, really.
When he went on the Oprah show to promote Sicko he exposed her for the gasbag that she is. I remember her saying how she never thought about other people not having medical insurance, it simply never crossed her mind.

Moore gave her the look. Even her cult of an audience was aghast. He didn’t even really have to try.
Roger & Me really is such a good movie. Ain’t nothin’ changed.
