Another fine Onion article:

MIAMI—Allowing the candidate to leave viewers with a final impression before the broadcast concluded, CNN moderator Jake Tapper reportedly gave Marco Rubio 90 seconds to deliver his campaign’s closing statement at the end of Thursday night’s Republican debate. “We have reached the conclusion of our debate, and now, Senator Rubio, you will have 90 seconds to wrap up your campaign for president of the United States,” said Tapper, advising the Florida senator to be concise and direct with his final words of the election cycle. “This is your last chance to speak directly to the American people before exiting the national stage, so please utilize your time wisely. You may now begin.” Tapper went on to assure John Kasich that he would have the same chance after Rubio was finished.

Trump loses supporters

Will Quigg: Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon Backs Hillary Clinton's Presidential Bid, Report Says
Will Quigg, a member of the KKK's California branch, told The Telegraph he previously backed Republican candidate Donald Trump but was now supporting Clinton, a Democrat.

Oh, well, at least he has Mike Tyson (who came out and endorsed Trump)

Funny how this person makes comments about others weight (or trips to the lavatory) when he's clearly gonna go out like Elvis.

Would he, in fact, be the fattest President since Taft? :|

I don't know much about Taft, but the Easter Bunny can't beat him.

I must admit that I'm kinda angry at Sen. Cruz.

After his performance last night I dislike him less than I ever have before. Sure, I still can't stand the guy. At least he's not simpering and groveling at Mr. Trump's feet though. He's shown enough backbone to show that he believes in principals and not just "be against whatever the other team is against."

So, I guess that Julian Assange really, really, really doesn't like Hillary Clinton! Releasing 20,000 voicemails today from the DNC. This is just too funny (and sad) too.
Who knows where this is going-just think three more months of campaigning!! I have the Dem Convention winning an Emmy for Best Reality Show and Bill Clinton winning one for Best Actor in a Comedy (portraying a guy who is devoted to and loves his wife)!

I have to admit, I was a Joe Biden fan back when he ran for President in 1988-his run got derailed because he plagarized Neil Kinnock's speeches. I am wondering what he is thinking -if he was running, he would have a huge lead right now, unlike Hillary, instead of getting a Convention bounce, is now trailing Trump by 7% (and that is before info about the voice mails are made public). I am sure there are tons of people (ex-Mayor Bloomberg?) who are kicking themselves for not running.

Another interesting thing is the whole Sanders subplot. He got totally fcked over by Hillary and the DNC, but is acting like Kevin Bacon in Animal House (Thank you Sir, may I have another). His people aren't buying it and Jill Stein (Green) and Gary Johnson(Libertarian) are going to benefit big time.

Three more months!!

BTW for those interested in flatulence, there will be a Fart-In at the DNC tonight right before Hillary's acceptance speech, put on by Sanders delegates:

But based on the two choices, can it end? The intense hatred people have for either of these people is just going to continue to polarize this nation.

I was too young in the Sixties and Seventies, but after Watergate/Nixon, Ford pardoned Nixon and the "people" voted the Washington outsider as President (Carter) and I am sure many of those voted against Ford because of the Pardon. So people got a taste of revenge.

IMO life was pretty civil for the next three decades but it seems the last few years things keep getting worse and there are tons of disgruntled people in this nation, coming from all angles.

I'm not saying that magically all the "fuck you" floating in the air right now will evaporate. I'm just tired of the horse-race bullshit on top of it. Let's get that part over with and get on with watching the world burn.

Dear Americans

Good luck today. Please do the right thing. The right thing, that is, not the extreme right thing.
