You're getting these too? I'm getting >4 of these a day from the Grifter's org. There are a LOT of high-pressure used-car tactics used along with "you don't want your angry hero to be disappointed in you, do you" pitches. "When the asshat reviews the list of donors in ONE HOUR he'll be looking for your name ON TOP of that list! The last time he reviewed it HE ASKED WHY YOUR NAME IS MISSING and I had to explain that YOU HAVEN'T DONATED!" Absolutely disgusting.

And this is probably more on me than it is on the grifters writing the emails, but I find it really repugnant that all of the emails that ostensibly come from Don Jr. carry phrases like this: "I can't say I'm surprised that the Lame Stream Media has ATTACKED me Father once again." It just really seems distasteful to me when grown adults, 43 years old, call their parents things like "Mother" and "Father." I can't put my finger on why. I'd be fine if they ran with "Mom" and "Dad." But "father" is just really strangely familiar AND formal as hell. Just squigs me right the hell out (I'd be equally as squigged, incidentally, if they were going with "Mommy" and "Daddy." Those should also be off the menu for adults).

It occurs to me that if my absence is so troubling to the Goblin King that he and his staff spent time discussing it, and he's given them specific actions to take to address his worries ... Why doesn't he just call me? Surely the personal touch would really help pull me into the fold AND would make sure that he fixed the problem (which, let's not forget, He Alone Can Fix).
