What was really strange was sending in a nightwatchman to protect a number 8 batsman. Didn't really seem logical. Though it will be fun if Anderson hangs around to annoy the Aussies for a while this morning, which he is capable of doing. He seemed to wind the Windies up no end.

Mark_Wafc wrote:I know i shouldn't, and if he was still about i'd be moaning like hell, but i miss Shane Warne!

Agree. And especially the Warne/Gilchrist double act. Miss that constant: "Awww, nice areas, Warnie..."
Supposedly Shane* is joining the Sky commentary team today. They seemed a bit confused about why he wasn't there yesterday. No doubt he was up to something.

*That's Shane Warne, to make it clear, given the context. Though our man Shane on Sky Sports would be worth the watching.

Great display from the Tail.

Swann in particular.

433-9 at the moment.

 As a born and bred Essex boy, I'm not sure what to make of this.
The Eagles are very poor indeed this season. I was intending to go down there for some of the Glamorgan match, but My Bloody Van is on its way to Cov again. :(

Hope you have a great day, Aled, and hope the sun shines. See if you can get us some wickets. Yesterday was tough going, but we shouldn't have expected anything else.

So do they show it on proper TV in Australia, jennylois? Here you have to have Sky Sports to see it live.

I seem to recall watching it last time on one of the terrestrial channels, same as the NRL.
I wish I'd done biology for an urge within me wanted to do it then
