English rugby? The words 'bunk up' and 'brothel' and 'couldn't organise' spring to mind.

I just hope no one gets injured at the weekend. But we will just have to wait and see.

Ireland are without the srevices of Brian O'Driscoll and Shane Horgan for the vivst of England on Saturday week. These are two world class players that any team would struggle without. However, England will be missing the soldiers, guns and tanks that they had on their previous visist to Croke Park.

I hadn't heard that... thought O'Driscoll would be fit by then. :(

Yeah, Bud, I had a feeling that Stringer would be back for the England game.

Shaun Edwards reckons some of the England players could do with a game this weekend: http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/ ... thing.html

No, No, No....It's a JOKE FH. They will be playing. It's to do with the LAST time England were in Croke park (1920). There was a bit of a to-do shall we say.

Yeah, I know about the history of Croke... But O'Driscoll and Horgan unfit... the very thought gave me palpitations. Just don't joke about things like that.

All I'll say is "It was'nt me" 8)

I'm going to have a great run up to the match. I'm away next week, fly back to Dublin around 11am on Saturday next and the match is at 5.30.

As the Amstel adds we have over here say......THIS is going to be great. 8)

Should be great indeed. 8)

Apparently about half the England XV will be playing for their clubs this weekend. And there still seems real doubt about Wilkinson's fitness for the international. So despite the fact Ashton's named the team already, who knows what it will be by next Saturday? ;)

but he is carrying bumps, bruises and strains (Wilkinson)

I'd be surprised if he does not play in Dublin. The fact that he has played 2 games in 2 weeks for the first time in god knows how long has to have had an effect on him so I'd say he's just a bit stiff.

Yeah, I'm thinking much the same. Though they're saying that if the international was this weekend, he wouldn't have been fit. But I'd be willing to bet they'd have patched him up and played him. Of course it could all be the Newcastle boss trying to justify to the fans why their star player won't be playing for them...

14 out of England's 22 for Croke Park will be playing for their clubs this weekend.

Hope the Irish lads will be thinking about that as they take a leisurely weekend off. :)

Sigh, yeah. Don't we love the willy-waving between the Premiership clubs and the England bosses.

Have a great time on your hols, Bud, and come back in one piece!

That's just so they'll have an excuse when we beat them......hopefully.

Will do Shaz, thanks. I'll try and find somewhere to log on next week, if not I'll talk to ye all after Croke park part 2.
