Enjoy your day at Twickenham, Aled. I didn't manage to get tickets for this one, otherwise I'd offer to buy you a pint - though trying to meet up with people at Twickenham is never easy in my experience.

Should be a tight game, could go either way, too close to call. Hope it's a good one.

Elsewhere, Ireland should beat Italy comfortably. And I have the feeling Scotland will get a win over France. But then I predicted Scotland would win last week, so what do I know? 8)

Thanks FH, leaving West Wales at 8am tomorrow morning, and will be very late home.
I agree with your analysis FH, I think it will be a tight match. I also think Ireland & Scotland will win.
Looking forward to seeing the Under 20's playing tonight, there is a young lad (Dan Davies) from my home town, playing no 7 for Wales tonight.
Enjoy the rugby FH.
Cheers

Well done England, Ireland and Scotland. We had a good at Twickenham despite the result. Got home around 12am.

Glad you had a good day, Aled. 8)

I reckon England just about deserved the win, though like most people I can't work out how the TMO didn't give Anscombe's try. Stunning tackle by Underhill that clinched it in the end.

Ireland looked good, but Italy were poor for most of the game.

Scotland finally got the win. Game of two halves, the first full of good rugby, the second it all got very tense and full of mistakes. Laidlaw is a nerveless kicker.

I guess everyone needs the rest week now.

So another weekend over...

Haven't seen much of the France-Italy match as Friday night rugby is not popular in this house... France too strong in the end, Italy seem to have run out of steam as they often do.

Ireland-Wales was a cracking match between two good teams, good to watch.

Scotland played well, England played pretty badly. I've had the feeling Scotland would win the Calcutta Cup this year since before the 6N began. England need to regroup before they play in Paris, or France will scent blood.

Surely not, the 6N is far too serious business for that!

Actually I do think England just about deserved the win against Wales. They deservedly lost against Scotland because they were carp, and also because Scotland played bloody well.

The series decider now is basically Ireland-Scotland in the next round of matches...

And so to the penultimate round...

Ireland-Scotland: Should be a good game, a win for Ireland I think. Which will probably clinch the title for Ireland this weekend.

France-England: Difficult one to call. I wouldn't be expecting much running rugby. England were basically dire against Scotland, and like many others I'm surprised Uncle Eddie hasn't made changes in the back row. Probably a home win...

Wales-Italy: Italy have been very disappointing again. Should be a substantial win for Wales.

Good luck all.

Congratulations to Ireland on winning the title. It's well deserved, they're looking the best team in the NH by some distance at the moment.

Scotland promising again, but they just don't seem to perform away from Murrayfield.

Good win for Wales against very limited opposition.

England seem to be on a slippery slope, looking no better now than when they got dumped out of the RWC. May be a painful experience for them at Twickenham next Saturday.

France took their chance and beat a substandard England team.

Apologies for not being more active:
So Ireland have won the championship, England have lost 2 on the trot, and Scotland have all their home games, and will probably beat Italy.

The final weekend should be a good one. Its highly likely that Scotland will win, if I was a betting man I'd put money on both Ireland and Wales...but the bet would not be a very big one!
As usual I'm looking forward.
Cheers

Agree with your predictions for tomorrow, Aled.

Even though they're tend to struggle away from Murrayfield, Scotland will be too strong for Italy.

Wales should beat France reasonably comfortably, I reckon. France aren't as good as England made them look. (My French rugby friend went to the match in Paris with a group of Englishmen from round here. He was the only one who came home happy. I sort of enjoyed knowing that.)

Ireland look too good for England currently, so I reckon a deserved grand slam awaits.

The weather forecast for Twickenham tomorrow is grim. It's forecast to be below freezing all day, feel like minus 6 or 7, and there's an amber warning out for snow. I'll be freezing my asre off.

Congratulations to Ireland on a thoroughly deserved Grand Slam, best of the 6N teams by a long distance. The game at Twickenham was over before half-time. It was bloody brass monkey weather there too... I spent about 3 hours getting gently snowed on. It was fun though. 8)

So 6N all over for another year already...

Well done Ireland a historic Grand Slam, very few teams win at Twickenham these days!.
Cracking game between Scotland and Italy, Italy were unlucky.
Wales were grateful that France was feeling generous, France handed us victory rather than Wales won it!
So EU competitions this weekend.
Cheers
