I've just never got into RL. Maybe it was the Eddie Waring effect from TV in my young days. And the six tackle rule I don't like. But I'll try to keep am eye on the World Cup.

H Cup starts this weekend... maybe for the last time ever. Great competition, though. Predictions this year? Probably a French win again, I reckon. Of the English clubs, Saracens might be a decent bet, though they've got to get through a pool with Toulouse in it.

I seen that. I reckon the Irish teams will have a hard time of it this year, Leinster seem to have a very hard group. As its BODs last year tho Im gonna let my heart rule my head and say Leinster to win it

A pretty fine first weekend of rugby in the H.Cup. Some good games, and excellent tries.

Good start by Leinster, Niall, shows they'll be in with a shout again this year.

Very good wins by Scarlets (I was impressed by them) and Edinburgh.

But Toulon looked awesome, and have such a strong squad. They'll be hard to beat.

It was FH. I would not like to be in SO'Bs way when he is running at full tilt. Man is an absolute beast

After the initial shock, my feelings too, Aled.
I thought the Scarlets were very impressive at the weekend. Though Quins do seem pretty clueless this season.

I had a long conversation with a friend from Worcester recently about which of our respective counties are more useless in the cricket currently. I'm not sure who won. I can't imagine anyone truly being more rubbish than Essex.

Well done, moose. But Twickenham prices are ludicrous. I think I'll be there too, down at pitchside. Though no tickets have arrived yet. Much as I support the postal workers' strike, I'll feel happier when I've got the tickets in my hand.
