Well, befor you get yourselves into a "british isle" testosterone-fest you must consider..... lacrosse. A North American continuous violent game with sticks (with little nets on them), very hard balls, and near-full contact rules with little padding (a helm). A great sport.

And widely played in girls' schools in England in the twentieth century, I believe. (Which isn't meant to be a "we-tougher-than-you" comment. But some of those girls' schools must have been tough...)

Ahhh.... like field hockey here. The men play real hockey and the girls play field hockey (with little girly skirts, no helmet or anything). I hear field hockey is huge in Germany, but then found out it is played by men. I'm assuming they wear that same field hockey uniform that our girls wear, because we must have gotten from Europe. I mean a bunch of men copying a bunch of school girls is just rediculous.

Nah women too and in Holland it's quite big too. Olympic champions for a couple of times.

Our hockey girls are most famous for being slutty though

You're having a laugh...I'll take an Arsenal loss any day. Aren't they just an English Galacticos? Real will sort it out in the 2nd leg easy-peasy.

WOW. I've actually seen one very much like that once before and thought for sure it was broken instead of being dislocated, and now it makes sense to me that it would have been dislocated instead of a horrible compound fracture. The guy I saw, and tried to help (we were in a cave) had a foot just hanging at the end of his leg.
