Got tickets today for the MLS Cup Final in Toronto (not too cold!).
Toronto FC v Seattle Sounders....two well supported teams. 36,000 tickets sold out in minutes. The last round had a two leg series between Toronto and Montreal attract 96,000 fans...and what a series! Soccer is getting bigger over here!

So a game to wet the appetite for some of us Pogues fans tonight.....Wales v Republic of Ireland, KO 7.45pm, its live on S4C (The Welsh language terrestrial channel) which means for a change i'll be able to watch it live! Enjoy all but....Dewch Mlan Cymru (Come on Wales)

So, what to say about that game.....

That foul with the serious injury to Captain Coleman was disgusting, it really was. No excuses for that! Too bad that the outcome is that bad. Hope for a speedy recovery!

A draw for the Republic is okay, with so many first team players have missed because of injury or suspended becuase of yellow cards. In the end they really could have won, too bad they didn't.

Hope all the other injured players will be available for the next qualifiers in summer, as captain Coleman surely out for many months now.

Totally agree Hennybhoy, Taylors foul on Coleman was awful, and he deserved the red card, and he knew it as soon as he stood up! The match had a lot of needle in it, and Wales were not allowed to play any football, Bale was not allowed to breathe let alone play! Well played RoI that's a good result which strengthens their position. Wales are left with a very big mountain to climb, and it looks like the draw with Georgia will come back to haunt us.
