The Premier League is too much like the Football Manager game (Championship Manager as was). If you've got the team with the most money, you have to be a bit crap not to manage to win it eventually.

I sympathise. One of the few things that makes the bloated monster that they call the Premier League bearable is the hilarity of knowing that there are certain teams that are a bit crap, prone to implode at any moment and incapable of actually winning anything. It adds to the joy of the nation, something which is sorely needed in these times of baxtard coalition austerity.

Once the media have stopped fawning over the amazing fact that your neighbours have finally won something after only spending 44 billion on it (or whatever), they will realise the sad loss we have all suffered.

And Newcastle are officially Quite Good now too. Where will it all end? (Well done to Pardew, by the way. One of the many managers my home team have mistreated over recent years.)

Bye bye King Kenny, no surprise there folks.I like to remember Kenny Dalglish as the world class player he was and his first spell as Reds boss and NOT the grumby git he had become in the last few years. The way Dalglish 'handled' the Suarez racism row was a disaster and a big embarrasement all round.

Back at Wembley again, i feel like i'm stalking the place.Hope Millsy's boys can beat Luton and claim their rightful place back in the Football League,it won't be easy, as i'm sure Luton will prove to be more stiffer oppostion then Newport last week.Go York City!

Bayern were the best team by far on Saturday, just as they were in 1999,but they didn't have the character or resolve to go on and win the game, but THAT is football. But my team York City, triumphed again at Wembley.Back in the Football League and all set to move into a new stadium, hopefully it won't be called the Mars Bar Arena!

Yes, well done, York City. [Ducks to avoid various Luton fans locally.]

Like any reasonable non-actual-Chelski-supporting person in this country I was cheering for Bayern on Saturday. Though rather hoarsely after the afternoon's match. But that, as you say, is football.

And what sort of adult goes to a game he's not playing in wearing full kit? John Terry's excuse for all les autre faux pas is clearly that he's only aged six,

He presumably has to keep himself in a state of constant readiness in case he feels the sudden urge to pointlessly knee somebody up the arse.

No "Luck of the irish" yesterday. 3 curious goals conceded, a clear penalty not given.... :-(

But the fans were amazing (as ever)!!!
