Apparently Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger blamed a combination of bad defending and poor refereeing for the defeat at Swansea.

I was one of the 6,400 crowd at last Saturdays Darlington- York,Blue Sq.Premier League game, which ended 2-2,hopefully that won't be 'Darlo's' last ever home game, but what a brilliant crowd,it was a privilege to be there.

Whoever is brave enough,or just plain stupid to accept the England managers job, has the balls not to appoint that poser Beckham in any capacity, otherwise it will be the usual media circus frenzy. My money's on Barry Fry, only joking folks!

Is this in fact now the first time that a Pogues fan has been manager of the England football team? Ok, only in a caretaker capacity, but still...

Ah yes, but don't forget that as far back as 2006, Mr Stuart Pearce was already the England Manager, at least in the lyrics of "Joe Strummer" by the Rads from Space. 8)

Indeed the Rads' prescience is as always amazing and most commendable. 8)
