Lawdy, it's the House of the Living Dead. When I just checked the link they appeared to be talking about parish councils and Saint Augustine. Do they get round to discussing Hillsborough, RR?

At the time I posted the live feed link Parliament where discussing The Hillsborough Debate [backbench motion calling for the full, uncensored disclosure of government-related documents concerning the disaster 22 years ago. ]and it went on for c3 - 4hrs.The Commons debate was triggered by an e-petition [see above post]demanding the full release of documents relating to the 1989 disaster. The petition gathered the support of more than 100,000 people - the threshold for consideration for a debate in the Commons.

Yes, part of the reason for the question was wondering whether it got discussed by their Lordships as well as the Commons, as it was their chamber that was being covered at that link when I opened it... You don't by any chance have a link to the relevant debate, do you? The Guardian ran a live blog covering it, but I'm not sure whether it's still possible to access TV footage of the thing.

The petition was impressive. I was of course one of the many thousands who signed it.

Sorry if the posted link caused you any confusion, I posted it very quickly while watching it live.It was a live link .
My basic understanding of it is last night a motion was passed unopposed in the House of Commons.Next step will be the setting up of an independent pannel to review the papers for public release .Not seen any recorded version of the debate on line or if the tv rules even allow this.
Just did a quick search found this

"BBC Democracy Live" recorded debate link above

Steve Rotheram MP audio: Listen to moving Hillsborough debate speech in full link above.

Lots of videos posted at http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/multimedia/ from out side The House of Commons .

"Rangers FC withdraws all co-operation with BBC"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-g ... t-15350160
"........Rangers FC has withdrawn "all co-operation" with the BBC over what it said were "repeated difficulties" with the broadcaster this season.
The Ibrox club said several instances of reporting on Rangers from the BBC had been "neither accurate or fair".
It also claimed that a BBC Scotland documentary, to be aired on Thursday, was a "prejudiced muckraking exercise"........"

The Manchester Derby this weekend. I will be joining my brother for breakfast before boarding the barge (complete with fully stocked bar) to the ground. And hoping, praying for a Red victory. That is all

No problems, RR. I didn't know on first accessing it whether it was live or a recording of the debate. Thanks for the other links.

Relax. Always remember Forest manager Big Ron Atkinson's comment to local media after MU beat his boys 8-1 at the City Ground (a place where he never, in his brief tenure, quite figured out which was the Home Team dugout and which the Away): "Well, I did promise the fans a nine goal thriller!" I measure his departure from Nottingham from that moment.

Relax?!? Not possible. Every Citeh fan in Stockport is giving it large!

However, thank you for the reminder; the 8-1 Forest game was when Ole gave an indication of what he might do against Bayern later that season. :D

I've not had a day like that since the time they only got 5 at their old place. It's been coming for a while though. even though we beat Chelsea they could have easily put a few more past us that day. Ah well onwards and upwards! I have to say I like Mancini and I hate myself for saying that!

WOMAN'S DIARY: Sunday 23rd October 2011.

Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I
suggested we go somewhere nice to eat.

All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed, and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong.
He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated, but followed. I asked him again if there was something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on.

After about 10 minutes of silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh, and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up, but later he did and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me, and that he had found someone else.

I cried myself to sleep.

MAN'S DIARY: Sunday 23rd October 2011.

United got battered 6-1 by City. Gutted. Got a shag though.
