All worth it I hope, just to see Lionel Messi play. I think that's the difference, you know. No distractions with bonkbustin' headlines.

Was he there? Makes me glad I had a prior engagement. The smug self-satisfied git does my blood pressure no good at all.
Anyway, I hope Clegg thinks it was worth selling his soul to the Tories to get a ticket to the European Cup Final.

Will Swansea and Reading be required to bring their own goal nets, what was all that about? If that had been a Sunday league team in GB,they probaby would have been banned sine die!Great time performance by Barca, best team i've seen since the Cruff-era Ajax.

Messi is right up there with Eric, George, Eusebio, Pele, Cruyf, Muller & Maradonna....but those two boys in midfield are also just a joy to watch.

This will probably be the only time i ever comment on this forum thread however being a West Walian by birth who zealously supported the Swans during childhood before seeing the light:
Congratualtions Swansea City on reaching the Premiership.

Indeed. Hope Swansea do well next season. With them and Norwich in Division 1, there's at least going to be a wider east-west geographical spread.

As I'm a West Ham supporter, it's perhaps obvious that I don't know anything about it.

But I'd have to admit that I much prefer the game with an oval ball. Or a small round red hard one in summer.

Back in the 80's my Dad had a syndicate of around 10 other Dads who shared 4 season tickets, these were at Swansea City FC, Llanelli RFC (before they became the Scarlets) and Glamorgan CCC my friends and I saw quite a lot of top class sport during childhood.
Since then i always make a point of watching one footie game a year, when i lived in Cardiff as i was playing rugby on Saturday, i'd watch one of the mid-week fixtures (i lived 10 mins walk from Nininan park, 15 from Sophia Gardens, and 30 minutes from the Millennium Stadium) nowadays i usually see a League of Wales match, but i will make a point of visiting Swansea for my yearly football fix next year. However it does come 3rd behind rugby and cricket i'm sorry to say to the die hard footie fans on here.
Cheers
