I was working at the Leicester v Forest game on Saturday and was in the ground for the majority of the match (seperating the 'fans' who were somewhat fractious towards each other). How on earth forest were not 2 or 3 goals up in the first half was beyond me given the chances they had as leicester defended deep, then in the 2nd half they were totally out to sea.
It is good to see both Leicester and Forest in paly off positions through![]()

Thank you for those three kind words. We LUHG folk are beginning to feel that (just maybe) the evil septics may be on their way. We have finally spotted Glazer's weakness. He just loves money. If we offer him enough, he might just go.

Meh! I've been here before. Forest have to take the second automatic promotion position - they can't be trusted to graduate from the play-offs, on past form and on their current dismaying facility for bottling it in psychologically-daunting situations (ie local derbies, away games in general, anything in front of TV cameras.......). Only Forest could screw up such a relatively kind run-in fixture list. Mind you, I'm not at all sure the Premiership is the healthiest place for a football club to be at the moment, to be honest. It wouldn't kill me if they didn't make it. Pompey today..........
By the way Toby, I'm listening to an excellent Radio 2 program right now, Ballad of the Miners' Strike, in the great tradition of the Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger Radio Ballads. Fantastic stuff. I think you'd enjoy it. It'll no doubt be on the BBC player later.

what did fergie say ? "Fcuk off and support chelsea if you dont like it"

That result was for all the lousy wankers otherwise known as Liverpool 'fans' from wigan who have never been near anfield and take the piss out of me for supporting my home town team on a regular basis.
I hope you enjoyed your evening watching the match in the pub, your silence last night and today has been deafening.
