Football is to blame for hangovers?

Mind you, maybe I see what you mean... the whole of this season so far has felt like a hangover...

Now i'm not one to complain about referees (honest, guv). But last week we had Graham "3 Yellows" Poll, who somehow managed to find a ridiculous amount of time to add on for the Hammers to concede the inevitable equaliser.

Then last Saturday we had Uriah Rennie, the only referee to be named after an indigestion remedy, and for good reason methinks. Who managed to allow a goal that was clearly offside. Ok, he'll get a telling-off now, but too late for us.

I know these things probably even up over the course of time, but...

Mind you, it doesn't help that we've played like eejits for most of the rest of the season too. :(

At least we seem to have remembered how to score goals again now. Just need to learn how to defend. And avoid rubbish refs.

Actually it is sort of nice to see young Carl Fletcher doing well for Palace. Good little player, was sorry to see him go at the end of last season.

Unless a player has done the dirty on your team you can't help but follow their career and hope the very best for them. I feel it with Andy Johnson. Crackin' player. I was gutted when Mark told me yesterday he had broke his ankle!! Apparently its to do with the state of the JJB.

Apparently they think Johnson may not have broken his ankle: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 284929.stm

Which is good news. Thought it was a collision with the Wigan keeper that knacked him, not the pitch?
