I know it...I had a funny feeling when that free kick was given and sure enough. I hope all the united supporters choked on their prawn sandwiches when it went in. Putting aside my bias though, a draw would have been fair. I just hope that mouth-breather, Gary Neville gets fined for his celebration. What a wanker!

Ah! Disgruntled scousers. What joy!

He'll get fined for sure, United players always pay more / get banned for longer. But whatever he has to pay, he'll know it was worth it

I bet you didn't slag Robbie when he used to pull his celebration stunts / pisstakes, which even for a died in the wool red manc were very funny.

And the price he's going to pay is his England spot in which Carragher will take over come June! And that'll mean no more united players in the England starting 11. And you can't include Rooney because he's more scouse than anyone. He's so scouse, I bet you he nicks his own car before he realizes he's driven out of his own garage.

I pray that you are right. Without that liability at right back, England might actually have a chance of winning the tournament. Think England would do better to play Carragher in the middle with Terry though. Forget Campbell (too injury prone) and Ferdinand (too shite). I'd like to see Nicky Hunt of Bolton given a try at right back.

Well, apart from Brazil there aren't any outstanding teams. France and Germany are both on the way down. Czech Rep and Holland are good but beatable. This World Cup is there for the taking and England have the best team they've had in a long long time. If only Ireland had qualified too...

True, they could be in with a shout. They blow hot and cold. I thought they were awful in the last World Cup but they certainly have some good players.
What do you think of Ireland's Euro draw? Could have been worse- I think Germany are living on past glories and are there for the taking, as long as Ireland can find a couple of new defenders fast.

Germany have a great WC draw so they will survive the first round and thenn'll be kicked out real fast.

Couldn't agree more Soulfinger, Fowler has been doing his anti-United celebrations for years and no United fan has gone squealing to the FA/radio phone-ins. It would be a much better game if players from every club had the depth of feeling for their team Neville clearly does. If you can't celebrate a winner against your biggest rivals in the 90th minute what hope is there? My workmate - a staunch Liverpool fan - is with me on this by the way and says the Echo has been full of letters whilst not supporting Gary at least saying 'So What?'
Having said that still sweet a week later :D
