blimey blimey blimey!

I'm reliably informed that a million dollars a week is not unusual among American jocks.

All that cocaine and all those prostitutes don't just buy themselves.

And MissW - I suspect you mean to put a decimal place in there. "$1.25m." Though of course I have no idea at all how the Beckhams will live on that.

$250 million (£128 million) over five years, apparently. So it'll be hard, if anyone feels like starting a Beckham support fund.

But Becks isn't doing it for the money - he wants to "make a difference with the kids". And bless him, he probably means it too.

I find it hilarious how all the bluenoses think they're gonna go and do a 9 in a row again. St. Le Guen was sent by the Pope to ruin their club and he sure did it. I dunno if anyone here plays Championship/Football Manager but I remember when I was younger I'd go to 'Add Manager' and make myself the manager of arsenal/chelsea and just ruin their teams. That seems to be what Le Goon did at Castle Greyskull ;)

LOL. That's exactly what I used to do with Man United. I put the youth team out in the Manchester derby, but it was all level at 1-1 until I decided to play without a goalkeeper, at which point City scored another 19. United's relegation at the end of the season was a wonderful moment.

Le Guen is a great man, who will be remembered fondly for years to come.

Have Scotland appointed a new manager yet?

As for the Beckhams, I don't know how they're going to make ends meet. Must be a worry for them.

They always try and play the game the right way and have had a long line of decent managers who started off there...Martin O'Neill, Lawrie Sanchez, John Gregory and now Paul Lambert.

They will get tonked at Stamford Bridge i'd imagine, but there you go!

I grew up in Wycombe and watched them throughout childhood. Family are still regulars there and I get to see a few games now and again.

Been pretty lucky on the management front since O'Neill but still a few donkeys have passed through. Alan Smith ruined everything after O'Neill moved on and Tony Adams wasn't upto much either.

Paul Lambert so far so good.

No talk on my team Portsmouth? We are always frowned apon, and it is quite far through the season and we are in the top 6. Early in the season we thought we were just on a good little run and trouble would hit us soon, but at the january transfer period we are in a place where we could easily compete for europe... WE'RE ALL GOING ON A EUROPEAN TOUR, EUROPEAN TOUR, EUROPEAN TOUR!! PLAY UP POMPEY, POMPEY PLAY UP  :D :D :D

So Feyenoord was kicked out of the UEFA cup yesterday. What do you guys think of this? I think it is so bad that a club is punished for the misbehaviour of about 20 hools. Why hasn't the FIFA suspended the England squad??? Wherever they seem to go, there's trouble

And especialy such a great time like Feyenoord gets kicked out. Most of them are the best supporters you can get in Holland. They wil ALWAYS support their team
