I suppose after 20 years of not experiencing frustration, it's now welcome to the real world

Why thank you! I hope it's only temporary but it's being made very much worse my how well the bitters are playing!

Sympathies. My team has been consistently "unlucky" for years now. Although in our case "unlucky" would seem to be a synonym for "carp".

Yeah, the Hammers have been carp all season. Even a win yesterday still leaves them in the relegation zone.

Moyes gone, expect to see an annual departure of Manchester United managers between the next appointment and the one after that and the one after.........Manure didn't win the premier league last season ,it was Van Persie or was it Van Gogh, sorry my mistake it was Van Morrison!Good luck to David Moyes,if he's really desperate,he can always try his luck at Hartlepool......

With one game to go. I reluctantly concede the Medusa Fantasy Football League to firehazard. The gap of around 500 points is going to be just too much. 8)

Maybe next year I will pay more attention and make the odd substitution.

Well done fh, you were better than the hammers and I, quite remarkably. was worse than the reds.

Dutch coaches get fired everywhere and Man United wants Louis van Gaal?! Oh well his talks with the press are gonne be epic
The only Dutch coach I like is Gertjan Verbeek and he got fired twice first by AZ and then by 1.FC Nürnberg and both times the team got worse after he was gone I hope he finds a new team soon.
The team I'm supposed to support because my whole family does is NAC Breda but they play the worst football in The Netherlands so I skippped a few games
I'm looking forward to the World Cup and I don't really cares who wins it I just like watching the games with friends and family.

Thanks, SF, very gracious. 8)

I'm a bit disappointed with my fantasy league performance this season, to be honest, but hadn't been paying that much attention to the Medusa League, having been concentrating on the firehazard family league, which was typically competitive and is still in the balance... mind you, not as competitive as the equivalent Six Nations Fantasy League, which was on a knife edge throughout.

Anyway, next season... we'll have to try to recruit more fantasy league players.

And who knows what will be going on at Man U? Meanwhile, the Hammers will still be playing the same rubbish under Fat Sam, no doubt.

But in today's real football news, a teacher is reported for stealing his pupils' Panini stickers. So that's why people become teachers - I always thought there must be some reason to make up for the terrible pay and conditions! http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/08/colombian-teacher-steals-panini-stickers-children

My club seems to have shot itself in the foot once again, parting with last season's manager of the year two days before the opening game of the season.

Another lurch on the Selhurst Park roller coaster.

It seems insane..but maybe Pulis used the 'lack of funds' to engineer his way out..could have another job lined up..anyway it starts today!! WHOO!!!

It seems totally bizarre. Pulis worked wonders after taking on a failing team last season. Mind you, in response I've immediately removed all Palace players from my fantasy league team. So you'll probably do ok now.

Meanwhile some teams seem unable to lose their manager, however uselessly they're playing...
