Portugal impressed, well deserved win :!:

Indeed, I was quite surprised how badly our team (the Czech one) played. But we´re far from those killers from 96-2000 :-( Our coach is not really good I think, our tactics is obsolete, and the players...except Petr Cech they mostly suck. Our commentator constantly praises them for their experience...what is it good for? Except for Sionko, they were just walking on the green - not really running. Without brains of Nedved and Poborsky, it´s rather bad. But the coach is leaving after the Championship, I hope the new one finds some talents.

We've got 3 - JVOH, Boruc and Samaras.....

Germany 2 - Polska 0 8) 8) 8) Deserved win, no doubt!

With a little more luck Austria could have drawn vs Croatia. Don't thin k it would be good if both Host teams didn't make it to the next round, so come on Switzerland and Austria

Hmm I actually thought Poland were closer to 1-1 than Germany to the 2-0 but in the end it was deserved.

Now waiting for the Holland-Italy match. I guess it will be playing against a wall

Ah forgot about him, but he was only only loan until the end of the season so he's technically not our player :P

You'd think UEFA would have thought about that when they picked 2 crap teams to host it, counties that don't even have decent stadiums  Then again, FIFA are letting S.Africa host the WC when they don't even pay their workers £10 a day. Absolutely disgraceful.

Hope the Dutch win (looking like it). Hate Italy, they're a disgrace to football.

Spain really impressed me up front, great way to score goals.

And Sweden has won :D Thanx to the King of Kings for be involved in both goals. Hopefully Wilhelmssons injury is not so bad....

Congrats! Although I loved the Italy of Roberto Baggio and Albertini, Hollands were better this time. I wouldn´t say much better - they ruled for the first half (surprisingly), Italians ruled most of the second half...the difference was in productivity. But maybe Italians could take more offensive tactics - it worked rather well and they have good attackers, while defense...without Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Costacurta...not really good.
