Our away form's been better than our home form this season on the whole. But I'd reckon a draw at your place could be likely. Mind you, very happy with last night's result! :D

Just see how much good a Swede can do  :D What i´w seen of the reports Ljungberg has been real good the last two matches. About time.... Just hope he´s in good shape for EC this summer.

Nice little win for Wigan in the mud on Saturday. Sunderland away and Derby at home next. I reckon 5 wins from last games will do us and as weve Bolton, Derby, Reading, Birmingham all to play at home we are in with a fair shout

Really enjoyed the football on Saturday - there was great banter between the crowds for what was a boring first half.

Shame afterwards two Southampton fans came in our local looking for a row - I sure hope someone knocked the ugly bastards out :-|

Well done, from what I hear you deserved it. I think you'll be ok this season. Don't think many teams will fancy coming to play in your sandpit. ;)

The Hammers are destined once again for typical inconsistency and a probable 10th place in the table. Or thereabouts.

We'd kill for 10th place! I was a bit surprised by how little West Ham showed on Saturday, maybe the win against Liverpool took plenty out of you; but Ashton in particular was very poor

I didn't see anything of Saturday's match, but yeah, that's what I've been told. Don't seem to be able to put a string of results together this season. Mind you, that's always been typical. It'd be different if we could play Man U every week.

Premier League considers the most disgraceful money-grabbing scheme yet...

Couldnt quite believe it when I first heard this. The 'justification' put forward so far beggars belief - there are fans abroad who would like to see the games. There are generations of fans over here who can't or won't pay any more.
They may as well have just said "Well, we can see that the gravy train in England might actually be coming to an end, we've fleeced the fans dry and we have to find some other mugs to rob". Fuck the lot of them, hope the bubble bursts soon

Couldn't agree more with your sentiments, Shant on.

And apart from the shamelessness of the greed, what about the integrity of the Premier League competition? How can you have a league of 20 teams playing each other twice except one of the teams you have to play three times, chosen at random except the "big" teams are seeded so they don't have to play each other? It's madness.

And, with all due respect, I wouldn't have foreseen a great demand to see Bolton v Birmingham in Brazil. I could be wrong, of course.

Sorry, I said "integrity" and "Premier League" in the same sentence there. The words are incompatible.

I think there is a deeper under current here, and i think that they will eventually "to make things fairer" increase the games played to 40, thus having two games played abroad. They are trying to make the Prem a complete closed shop so that any team who does get promoted from the Championship has no chance whatsoever of staying there. (thisis nearly in place now with winning championship sides becomming yoyo clubs)
But the big fear and i personally do not think it is that far off will be the complete european super league, a full seasons champions league where the "top" european league teams break away and form there own elite league.

I heard a fantastic quote on the radio today regarding all this "The tree is green, but the roots are dead"
