As Newcastle seem to be a completely self destructing team what with their past player brawls and their inability to keep a manager I always admire the brilliant loyalty of their fans. How can they make that noise when they've got nothing to shout about? - although I can't talk, I'm an Everton fan
Would it not seem a good idea to Newcastle to look outside the premiership for a manager, try finding a different type of manager - not someone from a huge foreign club or anything but a manager with potential (they could still be a british manager, knowing how important that is to many fans, but perhaps currently abroad?). I know it's easier said than done but surely it's better than bringing in strings of managers from lower or mid-division permier league teams like Bolton and Portsmouth and then wondering why they dont compete at the level of the big clubs of which they consider themselves one?
