That final kick was very disappointing. I guess there are moments when a player's suddenly glad that there isn't a crowd there to watch it...

Ireland-France could be a cracker next Sunday. Looking forward to it.

Can't see Wales doing much more, we'll probably beat Italy, but we cant seem, to win our own lineout ball, and we would of probably struggled in the scrum had we been up against the Irish 8 all match!

Scotland-Wales could be fun. It's usually a good match, it'll be interesting to see how the two teams measure up this year. Looks like Wales have a few injuries?

Wales won, but i feel more like saying commiserations Scotland rather than well done Wales. I think a yellow card would of been acceptable as unlike last week this was not as clear cut. England had to do a bit of work, but got there relatively easily, May should of been a high jumper. Some nice back play by Italy.
Cheers

Great game for the neutral at Murrayfield, though I agree about the red card, which did spoil it a bit. It sounded like the TMO thought it should've been yellow too. Reece-Zammit's got some talent... a bolter for the Lions tour if it happens?

England got the win they needed, looked better than they did against Scotland, which they had to. But still nowhere near where they need to be for the 6N. Not sure that Farrell or Daly should be in the team at the moment to be honest. Horrible injury for young Jack Willis overshadowed the game, hope he can recover well from it. And I think Jonny May used to be a pole vaulter in his youth, guess he doesn't need the pole now...

Looking forward to Ireland-France this afternoon.

Ireland-France was so close. Ireland missed Sexton and Murray, though Gibson-Park filled in for Murray very well. He's a good catch for Ireland.

France are looking the best team in the tournament so far. Dupont is some player.

Wales won, but not under controversial circumstances. Wales had 14 points when they should of only had 6! However England at 24 looked like they could get back into it, but for some reason did not.
Ireland had no problems against Italy.

My French rugby friend Pat apologised on behalf of all French people for the performance of the referee in the Wales-England match.
But England's discipline throughout was terrible again. You're not going to win games when you give away so many penalties. And from 24-24 Wales dominated and won the last quarter, so fair play to them. An unexpected Grand Slam on the cards now.

Agree, Aled, hard to tell much from playing Italy. But Ireland just look better with Sexton.

Two cracking matches over the weekend. England-France and Scotland-Ireland were both great games to watch, just a shame there weren't the crowds to see them.

Regulation win for Wales in Italy. Still on course for a grand slam, unless France bounce back after their defeat at Twickenham, which is something they don't tend to manage to do.

So congratulations to Wales on the tournament win. I don't think many would've predicted it before it all started, but Pivac looks to be doing a good job there. I reckon a lot of the squad have played themselves into the Lions squad.

France typically blew up in the end, though credit for Scotland to hanging on in there and grabbing the win.

No Sexton in the lions squad then

I was surprised at that. I guess he's had fitness issues, but it's a big call to leave him at home. Though in the end Gatland does normally seem to get things right.

Hello All. No Sexton, Sinckler or J Davies in the Lions squad. Other than that no real surprises. On the whole i think that's about the best we could pick. Great to see our local boy Wyn Jones in the squad. He's a top chap and a very good player.
Looking forward to it all kicking off soon. We'll also have a few local Wales tests this summer as well, which should be good. I hope to go to see one of them, ....i tell you one thing i will ever take watching live sport for granted ever again!
Cheers

Felt sorry for Sinckler, and surprised about Sexton, though he has had a few injury problems. But of course it may yet change, with possible injuries before the tour starts. But looks a decent squad. Looking forward to it. And at least games in SA don't mean a madly early start to catch it live on TV.

A couple of internationals at Twickenham coming up in the summer too. Not sure how the ticketing will work with restricted capacity. Or whether mme firehazard would allow it, so we'll see...
