BOSTON

When I was in Boston I got to see the Pogues 2 nights in a row. When I was at the Pogues show Philip Chevron dedicated a song to me and my sister called Thousands are sailing. And we got to go history hunting. And I learned about Paul Revere telling everybody that the British were coming when everybody was sleeping. and you do know who won the war? The Americans won it.

Even when I was in Boston the second night a movie was on about Paul Revere telling the same thing. Do you know how many people died in the war 25 000. the year that happened was 1776. I hope everyone was OK? When we were in Boston we went to a park. They hung pirates and witches there. WOW!!!!! Amaaaaazing!!!!! And I learned of other cool stuff. And When I was at Boston I went to Paul Reveres house. I like learning new and cool stuff. And I went to a aquarium there. And when I was there I touched a starfish and then I held a different starfish. I wish you can go there too. It was fun in Boston I want to go there again some day. I like going to Boston. I wish I can go back to Boston to see another band some day when I have kids. But I am still little. The End

What Seattle is not telling you is that herself and Jamaica, somehow under the impression that their entire Boston trip was sponsored by The Pogues, even blamed us for the weather. "Why are the Pogues so cruel to us?" they wondered. "It's so cold."

Seattle, you and your sister must come back sometime when it's nice weather. It's usually very lovely here in May and June. And there are so many fun things to do for young people. I don't know how long you were here but the Museum of Science is always wonderful, and there's a museum just for children too, called, naturally, The Children's Museum. Also you can take a ride in a boat that goes in the water AND drives on the land! It's got wheels or something. And there are these other boats here in the pond in the Public Garden that are shaped like swans. Those are fun too. OH I forgot in June there's a college nearby that has a huge Irish festival, with all kinds of music and lots of animals to pet and great masses of delicious foods to eat. But it's nicer to do some of these things in the warm weather, so you will have to come back later than March next time! Although you will also have to come back IN March since that is hopefully when the band will continue to play. Mum and Dad will have to make two trips, right? :P

Hi DzM. Thank you for putting my picture back on. I hope you can see me again in Boston when I go back. 8)

Hi Philip. My sister said the Pogues are torturing us because when we were in Boston it was windy the second day and rainy the first day.

Hi Meowhouse. I think that stuff is cool I forgot about the stuff that I saw and you reminded me about that stuff. Thank you. :D
The Pogues have inspired a bunch
And now it's time to write along,
Because we are able to see the Pogues play a song :) :)

Thanks Seattle. I hope so too. I've had the pleasure of meeting your parents in San Francisco and in Boston. I trust that in the future I'll also have the pleasure of meeting you and your sister in San Francisco.

Seattle...where is the homework I set for you???

Have you been watching too much TV then? Come on, girl, where's my drawing?

Remember? I wanted one of my kitten and maybe DzM's new pup.

I suppose Miss Seattle is too busy playing outdoors to want to spend time inside drawing pictures for us old people.

I noticed recently that the expression on Jamaica's face in the backstage-at-the-Pogues picture is uncannily the same as in the drawing Seattle did of her. Very mischievous-looking. :P

Irishbookish wrote:Seattle, lovely drawing!! But Jamaica does look like maybe she has been looking for your best skirt to wear to a birthday party. You had better watch her closely as that is what sisters like to do!!

Can you do a really small drawing for me? I have a small kitten and DzM has a cute puppy so maybe you can draw us a very small drawing of them togther?

DzM *thinks* he is cute like his puppy... :D

I forgot about this but I drew a picture of a horse in the desert. I call it Desert Horse.

Image

I drew this picture at my dad's friend Harry's house. Then I brought it home and colored it. Then I showed it to my dad and thought that I should put it on the website. I made this picture for my dad. I am sorry that I didn't put pictures on for awhile.

Hey great drawing. Here's a photo of my kitten Mika and our new kitten. They are so cute together and roll around play-fighting. We don't need to watch TV!! You can draw this if you like. everyone has a different name they want for the kitten - Valo, Michael, Pest, Milo, Enriquo...phew!!

Hi Seattle! I like the picture of the horse in the desert. The colors are wonderful, and very realistic. I get thirsty when I look at it! very nice, indeed.

Say hello to everyone else in the family for me!

enjoy the rest of the summer!
