Thanks!
Maybe I should get into the tattoo business, lol... Send me a ticket to Oz (unless all I have to do is kick my heels) and I'll take photos of you performing - music?? Not that I "need" a new camera, but I have had my eye on the Nikon F100 for a while. :) And throw in a few thousand rolls of TriX and Delta 3200 while yer at it, ok?

Ruby slippers'll be cheaper than an airline ticket DownUnder, I'z afraid - I'll email ye a pair. And I meant I'd have to buy a camera to replace the one ye'd've broken shooting me....*Sheesh, self-deprecation is hard with some folk*

It isn't some fictional Raelians you have to worry about. These vicious blood sucking bats are the real danger. Thank God we have enough amphetamines to make this boat go faster. But firearms are really our only defense.... and hallucinogens.... hallucinogens (or alcohol in some of our cases) .... yes hallucinogens will make the bats go away... or get bigger.... and THAT is where the firearms come in. Easier targets, that's what we need! Because alcohol and firearms do not make for accurate shooting. ATF -- Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.... who's bringing the chips?
Fintan, some serious strangeness is on the way and I think you know where I am going. Into the heart of Pogueness.

You bastard!   You just made me laugh so fucking hard, I nearly had a spasm, orgasm, and a stroke at the same time. I'm fucking crying. Gods I miss The Duke. All hail the Gonzos of the world! Nurse, bring my my horsewhip and linament, and oil up another Eurasian love-slave, there's a good gel! Pardon me while I nip off for an anti-Clinton (work it out)......

Thought you might be ... lets just say "of a like mind" The good doctor is missed to be sure. All this talk of mace and Nazi pigs on another thread has made me think of him a lot lately. I actually went to a bar to see him (Hunter S. Thompson for those following along) back in the early 90s. Interesting. He started with a full bottle of Chivas. By the end of the night it was finished. When the bottle is empty, the lecture is finished. It took about 2 1/2 hours. What a professional!

I'm going to have a tattoo made on my back, and I would like it to be devoted to the Pogues- any idea about an image really embodying the spirit of the group? thanks!

I knew someone who had the opening notes of a song (can't remember which one) tattooed around his arm. That was cool.

it's curious because my boyfriend told me the same ( but nly because he didn't like the idea of something totally devoted to shane, as I was thinking first ( he's jealous...!)
IT'S 8) AND A BIT  too
maybe it's too extreme for me- and my favourite album is red rose for me, pity because i don't like the cover very much
what about the lyrics? which are the most poguish phrases? :?:
