Too bad the Picasso Museum in Paris is under renovation but at least you still have Centre Pompidou! And Rodin's "Gates of Hell"! My favorite restaurant in Paris is Rotisserie du Beaujolais http://www.zagat.com/r/rotisserie-du-be ... ris-france I seriously suggest anything with the mashed potatoes as a side dish. Your life will be changed forever, I'm not kidding.

Bruges...do not miss the Madonna of Bruges http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madonna_of_Bruges Michelangelo at his best (in my opinion). If you think you've tasted good Belgian beer in the US you will have your socks blown off while at the source. I think they only export a tiny fraction of what they actually brew so be prepared to wallow in beeriness.

Thanks for the tips all. Not a huge Picasso fan as the song says "Pablo Picasso was an asshole". I do recall Matisse will be on exhibit.

I was wrong it was Manet at the Musee D'orsay. Really enjoyed it.

Sedona, AZ, USA in a couple of months.

I'm told that if I wanted to stock up on power crystals, dream-catchers, and prisms that this is the place to do it.

True that. If you are a golfer there is a great Robert Trent Jones course there as well. Very picturesque, bring your camera.

Since Norway was cancelled due to a broken leg, we planned some alternatives:
Barcelona (1st week of November)
Hamburg (Christmas holidays)
Naples (Easter holidays)
Norway - 2nd attempt (next summer)

Trying to decide on a short break for next week, somewhere sunny, not too far and around the £250pp mark for seven nights, preferably with some kind of town or village around it. Turkey is looking good, or maybe even Greece.

Any suggestions?

Not really a holiday, however I will be in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for a week and may have a few days to kill. Any advice on what to do or see? Or what to avoid?
