Unlucky, or just uncoordinated?
Have a great time, Bud. Skiing has never appealed to me. Too damn cold. Perhaps I should give it a try sometime.
Wouldn't mind the apres-ski, though. Can you have that without having to do the skiing first?

Well my far better half tells me you can. There is a placein St. Anton called the Mooserwirt. From about 3.30 til 7/8 it is heaving. DJ gets the place hopping....dancing on chairs and tables in ski boots....NOW THAT'S DANGEROUS
I never really wanted to go skiing either but Mrs. B was mad to go so.......that was 4 years ago and we are going twice this year. I love it and she is kinda "been there, done that, next".....Women

Have been in St Anton many times, it´s a good party town.
Now i havn´t been there for last 10 years but it´s party til late and you´ll find party everywhere
I´m going for one week skiing next week in the Swedish mountains with the whole family, even my sister from London is coming home, Great fun.
And about injurys, i have been skiing since i was 3 years old and have never got injured in the slopes, but i have been in the "After Ski"
Hope you´ll have a great time in Austria Bud and hope you have better luck with the wether than i hade 3 weeks ago when i was in Badgastein, It was raining all the time and wery little snow.

But the party was good
