I hope for you - and for Europe in general - it will be the step forward. Fingers crossed!

I seem to recall he used to play guitar some years but I could be wrong. He was in a band playing Doors covers and such like but I can't remember what he did. He's never expressed any desire to join a Shaneo tribute band though, I'm afraid. And he's not Irish either.

Oi understand :D As oi always stated.. me Oirish work in Serbia is extremely loimited due to lack of musicians oi require, but Tiocfaidh Ár Lá - Our Day Woill Come 8) At best and maybe oi could foind one or few people here, not Oirish ones and even that could never happen or it can easily become new dissapointment. Real Oirish band members, full band oim planning to seek upon leaving Serbia 8) Here its pretty obvious to be loimited to solo work or some acoustic workout at best oi thoink.

I know this has been asked before but if you really want to get out of there why don't you just like, get on a plane, and fuck off out of Serbia??? It's not like anyone's going to stop you...

Scrolling back in the thread and reading is haaaaard... It's much easier to start the whole story once again. Yay!

the day when that becomes possibility will be the day of dream come true.. not possible really, Serbian passport is worthless, oi wouldn't be granted access to Oireland, UK, States, Canada or any country of the modern world; oi've wroitten about it all.. :( oi have to go step by step, wait to visas to be cancelled, or ask for Oirish asylum, or move to middle solution country or sth else.. none of the options are easy and take enormous efforts to achieve, toime, lots of stuff, documents, connections etc. etc. etc. :(

Scrolling back through this particular thread is indeed hard. It's biblically proportioned. I'd need provisions for a week and two changes of clothes just to get halfway through. Not to mention an interpreter to translate all the funny pronuncioitions.

Anyways I got my answer. Mind you, it wasn't even half as interesting as I thought it might be.

Heres how the culture is beeing treated in Serbia..

Image

Actors who were on strike in Novi Sad were attacked and beaten up by unknown group of 15 attackers during the night. Masked attackers who are believed to be instructed by theather's director entered theatre during noight, entered room where actors on strike were sleeping and started to beat them, and the situation even continued on the streets of Novi Sad. Serbian police as always did nothing during this event.

Its very familiar to me that culture, different views, tolerance is far from being allowed in Serbia. Varvarism and primitive people are still in enormous number here.
