What I've always found humourous about his accent is that it more closely resembles a London accent like how Shane sang in his earlier days (not sure if he still has one) than an Irish accent. Either way, I don't think we should ban him. If it bothers you that much, just look away. One of the things I've always loved about this board is that there are relatively few banned people. Other boards ban people just because the administration or top posters don't like them and disagree, but this board has never seemed to have a problem with that. I'd hate to see it fall down a level or two into that category of banning people whom the mods just don't take kindly towards. Also, whilst his posts are indeed rambling at times and somewhat undecipherable to an untrained eye, they are very rarely spam but often times a genuine contribution, even if poorly writ and oddly worded. So, I don't agree with banning an active contributor, who oddly enough provides more discussion topics for us than most contributors, just because we don't like how he spells and how he rambles on about being in Serbioin chaoins.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

He doesnt need banning he just needs to stop typing o's before the i's. If he doesnt stop someone is going to have to go to serbia and punch him in the face.

Been busy last days, paintoing em' walls green at the new place; oif chaoins won't break let the proison cell go in OIrish colours..
It came as a surproise to see 4 pages thread comoin' out over noight and woith such burnoin' emotions; what can oi say, ye all know where oi stand.. oim walkoin' me own road to essence & attoitude, oincludoin' accent.. oim aware oi ain't born OIrish, of huge advantage me fellow OIrish people loivoin' in Eire have in speech and much more beyond; oi try to cope where oi am and oim sure many Medusans, me froiends understand me struggle towards the hard goals ahead of me.. hundred thousand thanks for yer words of support and woisdom along thois thread and in many others.
Oi loive in a place where attotude & essence is not desoirable and put down, where doifferent views, subcultures, languages and exressions are burroied below the deck; bannoin' & destruction, thats the tool of those who have no creation to offer - those legions are to be seen everywhere, sadly even at places less expected.

I admire James Joyce and OIrish. I also prefer the Dublin 11 accent.

I think IrishRover is a good egg. Jesus Christ, it's a small life that gives a toss bollocks how somebody types on a bloody internet messageboard. If that's how he wants to type, so be it

I reckon you should step up the 'oirish' speak ten fold, mate just to piss people off even more :D

Think about it in this respect. If you stifled all of the left of the centre characters the world had to offer you'd be left with a pretty bloody boring life

Well, I don´t like this much, it seems "wannabeirish" to me - for example here, in Czech republic, we have some so pro-Irish fanatics, they´d gladly enter IRA I think :-)

By the way, with longer posts of Irish - it´s not that hard to copy-paste it into MS word, push Ctrl+H, and turn "oi" to "i" - quickly, it´s much easier to read :-)

Do you know anything about Tourette's syndrome other than what you might have heard on some second rate shockumentary?
