So whats the drummer up to....
...get wicked!
I'm sorry but I hate crowd surfers, they always spoil my view.
Once at a The Primitives small town gig when this happened more than once .
Broken bodies were in numbers.
To make things worse a friend of mine jumped up on stage to do said stage dive only for the only person to catch him was me. I had one hand just below his neck
on his chest & the other just above his crouch.Times like this you find out whom your true friends are.
Looking around to see who /where I could pass him onto there was was nothing but free floor space.
So I took him for a walk around the " mosh pit ".
Only for a bouncer to stop my progress , no stage diving allowed .
Monkey man "...He "s out...." Quickly dropped said friend to floor ,who ran behind me like a guilty school boy.
Drunk & loving the night out I just squared up to the bouncer & said " No he is not.." ....." You do not want him .."
Me laughing & smiling started to dance in between the monkey man & friend for a few minutes .
Only for him to laugh & give up .The girl singer stopped singing & stage diving is ok buy us.The bouncer retreated to stage right.
Only to steal a girl friend of mine a few years later.
"Often wish that the crowd would move and that they'd go crashing to the floor."..........Never again
