I've begun getting out my Halloween decorations. This year, I decided to make a traditional Scottish Jack O'-Lantern and use large turnips. While I still intend to do some pumpkins, it's nice to keep old traditions alive like the turnips.

That's really cool.
We have apk in the netherlands.
In The Netherlands the "Algemene Periodieke Keuring" (APK) or General Periodical Inspection is mandatory for vehicles aging 3 years or older. The yearly inspection includes conforming to safety and emission standards.

I think building a car like that is nearly impossible around here.. How does that work in california?

I was in Donegal and walked by this old church, no roof, and took this picture. And I fucking like it.

It always pisses me off when you have to pay to go to the beach. Christ, it's a beach, on our coast, in our country.

The beach if free, you just have to feed the parking meters. Unless of course you have a beach sticker, which is $12, but since I go to the beach less than 6 times a year, cheaper to pay the parking.
