Sooooooo, long time not chiming in here but I figure this thread is the place to do it. I had a lovely visit from Carmen and Mats today! They came to my studio and I took them on a tour. I also chatted on Facebook with Territa this week, played countless Words With Friends games with KMurray, had a long overdue email exchange with DzM, and constantly enjoy keeping tabs on the familia Cadillac. I have made lifelong friends on this raft. I reread and treasure my years long correspondence with PC and fondly recall all the kindness he bestowed on everyone. I thank those of you that reached out to me following my near fatal accident last April. The Wake of the Medusa is wide indeed.

Wish I could visit your studio. We need a new reason to get together. Where shall we all meet?

I saw the photo of you with Carmen and Mats on Facebook. Hope you're feeling a lot better now and it's good to see you back here again, it's always a nice surprise when original medusan's come back, wish it would happen more.

It's such a shame that this site has gone so quiet, we used to have such a lovely community here now there's just a handful of us keeping it going and we don't all post all the time.

We've all got old and knackered now, Heather. Well, I have, anyway.

Good to see you onboard, KwaK and territa! Hope all's good with you. 8)

Some prat from Hollyoaks whose name escapes me, came backstage for the meet and greet in Liverpool in 2009, he chatted to Spider, but i don't think he knew who Spider was AND he wore a horrendous grey cardigan, the kind Tiffany wore in the late 80'S.I have to be honest and say i did NOT actually meet Hollyoaks Grey cardie,i did say hello to him,but i was met with a sneer, fame does that to some people, and anyway my brief aquaintance was killed off not long after.Hollyoaks loss was Nandos gain.I did meet an actor who was and probably still is a Pogues fan, one Paul Bradley,ex Eastenders and Holby City and more importantly Red Dwarf back in the day,not forgetting his band The hKippers avec Andrew,Birmingham 2001.

Pre-Medusa....i got to meet several of the London-Irish crew....mid 80's.......most of them were Gooners[Arsenal.....for those heathens!] they seemed like good lads on the whole.....maybe too much white powder for my liking. There was also a contingent from Reading....where are they now?Ditto Clare and Liz......who i met in Amsterdam...in 1985.....'original' Poguemahone fanatics.
