Oh, and I also met and had a chat with DublinRambler too. He was very nice, and we are now FB friends too so we can stay in touch. Didn't get to chat to him long though.

Mrs NJR and I had a blast with Jane and her family as well. I have to say she had us howling with the stories she told!
Carmen is a firecracker! One of the nicest people I've ever met, and she knows everyone. Phro was a great guy, had a great time with him. Where the hell's he been since 3/17? Cnd Steve is hilarious, life of the party. Territa is great fun and funny as well. Dublinrambler was a wildman, one minute I'm asking to squeeze by him to film, the next minute I'm filming and HE'S in the pit crowd surfing! Little Cupcakes was a great guy, funny as well. I owe him a few beers. As we were snapping pictures with Mr C, he shouted out "Everyone say Hannity"! Got quite a laugh from all. A few of us walked to the venue on the 17th. Carmen, Territa, Irishrose and the Mrs IR walked with my son and I to Terminal 5. We shared horror stories of concert ticket sales gone by andthe lack of country music on terrestrial radio in NYC. Irishrose and his wife were great. Felt like I knew them my whole life.
Ms Murphy was a bit quiet at first but jumped right into the action once the show started. We had a blast from our vantage point. Kwak was on the quiet side and I swear I met her husband somewhere before. Oblivion popped in and out so quick we just had time for a quick hand shake and a few words. Darren and the Mrs were great to meet as well. Fellow NY Rangers fans they had a prime spot for filming and I think they got the whole show.

At one point in the bar after the show, on my somethingteen Guinness, I know I was out of it. Not sure if I was an idiot to more then one person, several people told me I was fine. I have the distinct feeling I was not fine. I woke up the next day feeling like I pulled a Homer Simpson. You know, the one where he's at a black tie dinner party and he believes he's saying something profound.....meanwhile he's really a drunken buffoon blabbering gibberish. If I offended anyone I do apologise.

Other then that, Jane and Territa you're going to ruin my reputation if you keep this up ; )

I feel like an explanation is required. The eldest asked could she come with me, i kinda teased her by saying yes.......but.......oh yeah.......you have to go to school.......

Anyway, i've taken a leaf out of James' book, so to speak, and i'm making an effort to increase my vocabulary. Here goes......

I had a posolutely phenomenal few days.

ClashCadillac and the pulchritudinous Mrs Cadillac, thanks for the divine burger at 4am on thursday morning. You're both munificent 8)

Carmen, what an intriguing girl. Party on :P (And she downs a pint of Guinness with the best of them).

KathleenwithaK and Rich, two of the most insouciant people i have met in a long time. Cheers guys :D

AljaM, in Kitty's first and sipping an Irish Coffee. How cool is that?

I had a great old chin-wag with KilkennyCat and his partner. They had some great stories from down the years.

ManniGee, Up the Republic for the World Cup qualifiers  I've got those photo's and will email them ASAP. Good to meet you.

Three fellas from Sweden who i've drank pints with a few times before. Mats, Per and Johan, as always it was emotional

James, from County Kilkenny. James gave us a great rendition of Rainy Night in Soho just before we were thrown out of Kitty's.

Lots of others too. Annette and Simon from Oxford, it's a small world, meet in Philly Ryan's for one next time you're around?

Thanks everyone for making my few days all the more imperforate. 8)
