I had another awesome time tonight. I was squished up front, and loved every minute of it.
I'm so sad it's over!

Wow, 2 cracking nights in a row! A later start than usual tonight, about 9.26pmish if i'm right? Anyhow, stellar performances all around. Good crowd too. Photos etc. to follow. Set-list was the same as last night i think.

Yes well, the occupant of the Tent was delayed in traffic and lacking the police escort that was apparently, in all seriousness, considered.

The programme was almost the same. We moved "Metropolis" to just after "Sunnyside Of The Street".

Just wanted to pop in and say that the show on Saturday was spectacular. This was my first time seeing you in NYC. (I attended the last couple of Philly shows. Come back in 2010!) My family is all from NYC, and my cousins saw the show on Friday. Next year, I hope to be able to catch shows in both Philly and NYC, so please, please come back again. I hope the tour is a success, both personally and finacially for all of you.

And hearing Thousands are Sailing is always an inspiration for mulitiple reasons. I know everyone comes to see Shane, but that song always makes my night!

Was an amazing time on Saturday in NYC, I was right in front of Phil on the barrier, met some great people I'm pretty sure are on here, including Canadian Steve, hello to all. It was a great show, I didn't even notice the delay of on-stage time, but looking back Shane did seem a little more "loose" than on Friday night; forgetting a few lines here and there, something I did not notice at all on Friday. Anyway great show, getting ready to head down to DC for tonight's show in a few hours, looking forward to doing it all over again one last time, see everyone there!

Your most welcome, it was a battle at the rail but CdnSteve and myself on cue resisted the forces trying to seperate us from the rail??.....................no way in hell were we gonna let go??

Still can't believe the one fellow trying to climb up through my legs, only hope your ears's recover from the mauling they got from my knees??......................yah know your taking your life into un-charted territory trying to crawl through the pit??

It was great once again to meet other Medusan's as it only adds to the greatness of the show, sharing a passion with others is a remarkable experience.

On Friday night we were able to hook up with CdnSteve and his girl, and also Lesh and Anne, we met at Connolly's and met up once again after the show for a bit of a trek around Times Square, at this time the effects of very little sleep and of course the Guinness and Jamesons were playing their parts as well, and exhaustion was creeping in, as i was starting to nod off in the cafe we sat in, sorry about the drivel??.....................LOL............my lovely wife has now finally seen The Pogues live and she enjoyed it thoroughly, i had arranged for seating for her as her back issues from a spill a few years ago,(she had to drop out of the 2007 excursion) would never had allowed her to stand through the whole show??

thankyou once again to the "fine gentleman" who helped arrange this for me(us), i cannot stress how much we appreciated this guesture??

On Sat, as promised we took up our posts by the rail directly in front of Philip and Terry, got some great pics of the lads, and here we met more Medusan's, about part way through the show Steve and i allowed a couple of young lady's access to the rail as they were being crushed behind us, to Errin and Lynn,(being shorter than us helped??..... ) it was great to meet you folks and also the others in the immediate area, once again trying to recall all the names with the noise, and of course my little flask of Jamesons, had some kind of effect on the memory process??..............my son and nephew standing to the side missed out on chatting up a couple if sweet young lady's, showed them the pics i got of the two of you??.............................of course "mama" had a few questions regarding my arms being around the young lady's, dang one thing one should never do in life, never,never get your Irish wife in a jealous mood??...............LOL.......just kidding of course, she understands the "battle of the rail"??....................what a sea of humanity, all sharing and vying for the same thing, i just can't describe it properly, but it all makes for one hell of a night??

Any others i met and just can't recall names, please make yourselves know here??

Well another great weekend in New York, and stacks of praise and kudo's go out to "The Pogues", for once again putting on a show of showmanship, you guys are "family" and you guys are brilliant??

To all "The Pogues"??....................Thankyou ever so much, for the two incredible nights we had??...............

LOL CdnSteve and i are both in the last pic, but our backs were turned to the camera at the time as someone was taking our pic from the crowd??

dam missed my fifteen seconds of fame once again??............................ ............we will be resolved with the backs of our heads going down as rather an ignominious feat of fame??............................
