Glasgow - 7.12.2008

just back from Glagow (I live near Belgium-Brussel)
Great show. Shane was in top condition, was often dancing !

especially on Turkish sogn od with SpiderStacy, dancing and running, never seen that with Shane.
He never uses his chair.
Beginnig with tradionnal Streams of whiskey and IISFFGWG, play list seems the same than Belfast (see below)

Negative points was the sound (really really bad sound), and the audience : good sphere but very young (18-25) and not the uephoy of London and Dublin gigs.

I'm disappointed there's no comment on this site ?!

Just got back home myself. i thought it was a brilliant gig, with a great crowd and top form band- Shane looked great only one disappointment, no Philip Chevron, no Thousands, it just aint the same without you Mr C :cry:

Some nice merchandise, i love the new pogue mahome tees !

Hope you got back home with both of your shoes this time. Wish I could have been there but there were no suitable flights so we´re going to London again. Can´t wait for the Brixton shows.

What a gig!

They get better and better every year.

Not quite the Barras gigs of the mid to late eighties but getting slowly closer every year.

Fantastic night, made even better by meeting Spider and Jem briefly afterwards in the Mezzanine bar - thanks for taking time to have a few words and posing for photos. Was a shame I didn't get to meet anyone else but meeting these two made my night.

Looking forward to next year already!

All the best to the band and to Pogues fans everywhere for Christmas and 2009.
