Cotton Fields! That´s a big surprise, hope they keep it in the set. Metropolis is great but I´d rather hear Greenland Whalefisheries.

Great show last night - marred, however, by the idiots throwing bottles of beer both into the crowd (My wife and I were hit TWICE, having moved to different parts of the hall) and, more astonishingly, at the band themselves! Jem was drenched early on, while James had to dodge a bottle during Streams. This madness continued throughout and I feel the band should have nipped it in the bud - Shane did make a passing reference to it but by this stage it was too late. I know I'm preaching to the converted here in the Forum, as I can't see why true fans of the band would do this sort of thing, but it really did take away from our enjoyment of the show.

Not only is it disrespectful to the band and fellow crowd members but an awful waste of beer

Which genius thought it was a good idea to serve the beer in bottles, I wonder?

Last year they had plastic bottles too but I didn't see any bottle flying all night. What a disgrace!

It was a typical pogues show, bottles (plastic) and beer flying, not nice if you're hit but it's always going to happen. personally I thought the atmosphere was great and the band were on top form, Shane seemed like he was really enjoying it. I may well have been drunk but I do remember Shane running up and down the length of the stage during an instrumental and jigging with Spider, never seen that before!!!

My thoughts exactly.....a rowdy Belfast crowd at a pogues gig, "lets give them the bottles-we'll save the plastic cups for the cliff richard concert".
