I was at both Saturday and Monday's shows, and I thought Monday was the better performance as well, though I enjoyed myself immensely at both. I stayed out of the pit for the most part on Monday, so I was also able to hear the music more clearly and focus much less on avoiding a pummeling.

I was also surprised at how tame the crowd was last night as compared to Saturday -- I was expecting an even crazier one. Although I was by myself last night, everyone I talked to was so friendly that I certainly didn't feel alone. I'm so glad I decided to come back. :)

That would probably be Tuesday Morning.

Or it could be "Love You Till The End"

How could you get tickets to the mezzanine section? I thought GA tickets were only sold?

I was fortunate enough to attend both the Sunday and Monday shows (for reference, I was the Firefighter in the front row if anyone here remembers). I had an fantastic time each night, what an amazing set of shows!

The best part though? The manager for the bouncers at Roseland offered me a job on my off nights to be a bouncer there! I got memories to last me for the rest of my life, and I got a second job too!

Last night was a gem. You guys trading notes on how that show compared to others lead charmed lives, I can't imagine having that good a time often enough to have a calm chat about it. If anyone who knows where pictures from the show might be posted I'd be much obliged for a line on them. I know that it's stupid to laugh and useless to bawl so I promise not to get all warm and nostalgic over any photos that are passed my way, I wont try to recapture any bygone revelries I'll burn them after a single glance.

I watched many crowd surfers kick you in the head as they were pulled from the pit. "That dude is going to be pissed off" thought I. :)

Congrats on the new job.

I'll be posting some hopefully sooner rather than later (though I still have some from the Fall shows that I haven't processed/posted yet).

I know that down in the photo-pit there were at least two additional photo-pass people shooting, and I know there were two people from Ollin shooting, and I know one of the guitar techs was shooting when opportunity allowed. And of course there were a bajillion small cameras in the crowd.

Documentation exists. It will surface. Keep checking in.

Will Ella Finer be accompanying the Pogues to Boston?? Thanks.

I'm afraid not. We were fortunate that her own schedule just happened to find her in New York at the same time as ourselves.

Thank you Philip, hope you have a safe trip to Boston.

Hey, I was one person removed from you on your left, also for reference. It was an awesome show last night, I was at Saturday and I don't know if it was due to the prime spot I had right in front of Mr. C where I could see the whole band perfectly but everyone in the band seemed to be having an awesome time up there, Terry jumping up and down before Rainy Night in Soho, laughing with Philip, the fingers being given to each other; everyone just seemed to be having a blast. I couldn't help but watch Jem's face during Fairytale watching Ella, what an awesome thing to see, he looked so proud. Anyway, the band was awesome for all 2 nights I went, couldn't ahve asked for a better spring break, cannot wait for next year!

If anyone bought one of the claddagh shirts, preferably a girl shirt, in a size small or medium, and wants to part with it would you please let me know? I've got my doubts as to its future availability online because it was a town-specific design. I didn't have time to buy one, and am regretting that now.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to attend all three of the New York Shows (along with the Philly show) and each show was special in its own right!! It was so amazing to see Mr. C back where he is needed and belongs - on stage performing with the Pogues! At Saturdays show, I noticed Shane give a heartfelt hug to Mr C after 1000's. That was as touching as the song itself.... In my humble opinion, the best Pogues show for me will always be the last one I attended!! :D

well, I went to the showes sunday and monday. sunday was a disappointment. although Billy was great, the pogues seemed out of tune and shane slurred a lot. Monday was fabulous. they had a great opening at, the latino band from LA. and then they proceeded to tear the place up.

Last night, however, was probably the most fun I have EVER had at a show.
I got home, and went to bed with a hoarse voice, tired legs, and a smile on my face.
Thank you!

We enjoyed all three New York shows, though our consensus is that last night was the best of the three from a performance perspective.

Just trying to get my legs back, WOW is all i can say, i do agree that Mondays show seemed to be stronger than Sundays, i was able to attend both.

Both shows were excellent, but Mondays seemed to have a stronger edge to it, not sure what could have made it that way for me, but I'm sure it had a lot to do with meeting up with the many Medusans i was able to hang with right up there near the from of the stage, Katthleen and her husband, Vancouver Steve, and so many others, at present I'm having a difficult time recalling names, not sure if the Jamesons had anything to do with it, or maybe the Guinness??.......................

Phillip is was an amazing show all around, hearing all you fine musicians taking individual stabs at the mike for different songs was even more rewarding, as we all love and adore Shane and his uniqueness, when we see and hear what the other band members can contribute talent wise, it truly demonstrates how much "collective talent" has been accrued into one entity known as "The Pogues"??

i cannot say it enough, thank you, thank you and thank you once again, for such a fine couple of evenings of pure raw entertainment that you bring to your fans. The final song Fiesta, with Ollin and the Marseille Fig players all getting on stage for the final was just so rousing??

this was my second trip to New York to see you fellows, and the last words from Shane were??..........."thankyou, and we will see you all next year"??

I'am already planning for next years shows, so heres to the health of all the band members and once again thankyou to all of you, this band is so special to me i cannot describe it enough, and of course meeting all these other Medusans only confirmed to me that the rest of the world is totally "fucked up" and we Medusans are the only ones who really get the meaning of life??

"enjoy it while we have it"

kudos to all of you with spades??.......... :D and see you next year laddys??
