Got in, got a drink, got a decent view and even managed to visit the toilets without too much hassle. I thought the sound was better too. The band were great as usual and Shane surpassed my expectations by a mile. Cheers to the guys for a good night.

It was Westlife.
Some girls at the hotel had gone to see them. I went on a huge rant about them. I may have got a little to aggressive about my particualr bug bears. I seem to recall shouting "corporate whores" a lot. I also described listening to them like listening to cancer. Again in a sober state I would appologise unreservadly for my behaviour and language, not my sentiment though!!
Oh, and does anyone have a complete setlist??
DownInTheGround wrote:Oh sorry my bad, those girls said Westlife I am sure of it. If they are not clever enough to tell the difference then I can understand them going in the first place. Sorry.

All standing crowd was much better. Shane made a cock of the odd song, did a major Eric Morecambe on Tousands of Sailors- all the right words but not necessarily in the right order. Sadly no Ned or Dog.
All in all a cracking night.

I wonder why nobody had this pretty obvious idea earlier.
