Opening Acts

Any word on who will opening on March 12th and 13th? Not that there ever would be a band that I didn't like playing with the Pogues. But I saw Billy Bragg playing in NY. I got a little excited.

I thought they were influenced by crappy 80's heavy metal hair bands like Fastway.

No, I understand he got in some sort of legal trouble playing with himself right around that same timeframe you pointed out, in public, so I doubt he will actually play with the Pogues in public.

As for this urban legend that Mr. Morrison has not appeared for gigs, etc... I suggest you go to the FAQ at the Doors web site. They seem to be a regular opener at the 9:30 Club (heechhhht.....Pwwaaaat). :)

And I was looking at The Legendary Shack Shakers' web site and it looks unlikely that they will be opening ...unfortunately. :)

So, any word on the Boston opening acts? As far as I can tell, the Orpheum doesn't have a website, and ticketbastard is characteristically useless.
Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent. I thought you were supposed to be good. Aren't you the... 'good' man?

No! I meant it is unfortunate that they are not opening. I love them and have never been to one of their shows.
