Ollin tore the place up. Unbelievable...Crowd diving at the end of Fiesta, much to the surprise of security.. Those guys are a party.
Thanks to all involved, and all who attended, for a great night..

I concur in all regards. I think the same set set list, even with "Worms" A lead guy from the band Ollin dived from the stage basically right into the pit area where I was, and surfed for a bit at the end of 'Fiesta." Ollin and William Eliot Whitmore joined them for Fiesta, so there was a nice horn trio and 2 accordion players plus various miscellaneous percussionists for a truly rowdy time to end the show. A larger crowd as well, and far more energetic.

Oh, and I'll never forget that wonderful couch of yours, Adam, either. Great stuff!

Band was in great form both nights, but the smaller crowd on halloween left something missing, maybe why I thought it took a couple songs to get going. Got home Wednesday night to see an email from LiveNation stating if you had purchased a ticket for Oct. 31, the next night is FREE!!!! Don't know who's idea this was, but it was genius! Nearly sold out last night, everything jacked up another notch. Still kicking myself for missing Ollin, didn't realize they took the Pharmacists slot last night. But after Springsteen Monday, Neil Young Tuesday & Pogues night one Wednesday left my ears shattered, we decided to arrive late for the Pogues. No slow start tonight, from the first notes of Streams, it was a runaway train. Great set - Kitty, Poor Paddy, Greenland, Worms- wonderful additions since last year. Really kept things fresh. Shane was in great form both nights, last night especially. Even banging the cymbals in correct time on Body of An American. LOL. Fiesta was bang-up last night with Ollin and all, on the stage for a crazed ending..
I'm in the freakin' clouds today. Phillip, I hope things are going well with you, we'll see you next time I'm sure.
God Bless the Pogues!

Oh, definitely. I was all disappointed after reading they did Worms on the 31st and I wasn't there to see it, so to get to see them do it last night was a real thrill. Fiesta was done just the way it's always intended to be done: with a huge crowd onstage going absolutely wild. (It reminded me of the old videos of the band doing the song with Kirsty and Joe and silly string.)I think Spider even rode on the shoulders of a guy from Ollin, and they were hitting each other's heads with the beer trays...
The security guards were extremely alarmed at the crowd surfing and immediately tried to pull him out.
It really was a fantastic show. It might even have been as good as their shows at the Wiltern last year, which I rank as the best I've seen. Shane sang everything pretty much perfectly. Loved Boys from the County Hell, Kitty, Sayonara, etc.
Also loved the apparent reprise of Shane's red bathrobe and top hat, and of course, the eyepatch.
