But still... fantastic show on the 18th

It won't have been "forgotten" for long. The road crew gather up such items later and take them back to the dressing room of their intended recipient.

If it doesn't I shall eat my hat. A special Christmas hat for the occasion.

Yeah I wasn't sure about that I asked a guy to make sure it got where it should go... but he gave it to me instead... Hm

Ah well, that sounds like an obvious misunderstanding - he thought you were asking if it would be OK for you to have the scarf as a souvenir of the evening, which also frequently happens. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to tell a Pogues Crew member and a local rigger apart. One way or another, your intentions will certainly not have been unappreciated.

In San Diego it will be easier - locals will smell of burn

That's sweet. I'm feeling better about the scarf in my room that shouldn't be there

still dreaming

Post Thu Nov 22, 2007 12:38 am

The first night was magical and intense.

I saw my hero Saint MacGowan and his top notch band.

Wont ever forget the blue lasers around Shane and how good the music was.

I was in the mosh for 'Greenland Whale Fisheries' 'Poor Paddy' and
'Fiesta'.

Snuck in a flask of Gin and got blasted.

In 300 years, people will still be listening to The Pogues.

Hooray Gentlemen, you are all amazing.
