Just got this Confirmation from WAY OUT WEST mailing list

In Swedish

(I´ll translate it later in the afternoon, bewere of my English) :D

Odödliga, bevisligen, The Pogues till Göteborg!

I Sverige. I Göteborg. På Way Out West.

The Pogues är odödliga!

This is basicly what it said, it´s not my words i´m just translating it

Does anyone recognice the begining?

Here we go:

Pogues Confirmed for WAY OUT WEST
Fysicaly half the band should be in the groundby this timedue to there hard living. That Shane lives is nothing less that a PURE FUCKING MIRACLE. The Pogues are undissputably living Legends. Shane MacGowan is one of our times all greatest text and song writers and have lived his life to the fullest.

The Pogues got all the ingrediens that The greatest artist have. From Punk, trad-arr. to the Brilliant popsongs, (they also got there integrity but still loved by sorts of people and classes with there Fuck-all attitude but still humbeleness) Who els could do the best x-mas song ever written without being a sell-out? Bad, bad bad translation ther.
Hope you got the point.

Pogue made a totaly new style in music wich have inspired and influented alot of people. Every swidish song writer with selfrespect ouhgt to have a lovefull relation to The Pogues.

People are saying that The 80´s are back. Shane MacGowan and The Pogues never left us, and soon there´ll be here- Fysicaly. On stage. In Sweden. In Gothenburg. At Way Out West.

Yhe Pogues are Imortal.

(Sorry for the spelling and English) Hope you got the point anyway)   8)

Sweden are Proud to have you guys here

Cheers
Johan

No need for apologies, Johan, think you did pretty well. Your English is better than my Swedish, anyway. And I love the Pogues being lovefull and imortal. 8) :)

Wow, it sounds like it's going to be a good do. 10th August, hmmm... very tempted, but don't know if the clan could be persuaded...

Johan, do you know how quickly tickets for this festival sell out?

I'm going to try and sell the merits of Sweden in August as well.

Good question on the ticket front

Dono about the Tix, since it´s the first year and all, but I do know that as soon the Pogues (and soon Morresy) are anonced ther will be a rush for tix. I´m getting my now but i understand that it´s so much harder for you over there. They will not sell the One day tix before all dates are confirmed with the bands, dono when that will happen. I´ll e-mail W OW later this afternoon and hopefully get some awnsers, I´ll post a s a p.

Com on Guys show me who run your homes  :D Take the Clans and "row over the lake". Just tell them how lovely Sweden are in Aug. (make something up) :D

So, if the Pogues are headlining on 10th August, I guess they'll be playing for something between about 90 minutes and two hours? That'd be normal-ish for a festival.
