So who of the Medusans are defo going? I would really like to go but none of my so-called 'friends' want to.

I´m heavily considering going to the festival. I think the best way to get there might be by ferry from Kiel.

There will be one day tickets for sale when all the bands are confimed. Don´t know how much it is yet but the 2 day ticket cost about $180.

Me and Johan will help all the arriving Medusas as much as we can with what ever you need. I´m pretty sure there will be a pre show party at Johan´s place, see you there

DZM will give you links in due course, I'm sure, but this is just to confirm that the ONLY show the Pogues will play in Europe this Summer will be the much-speculated Way Out West festival in Gothenburg, Sweden.

THE POGUES will be headlining the show on August 10.

Any other bands worth seeing playing? I am thinking about coming flights are relatively cheap from Dublin but the ticket price is what is bothering me. I can't really justify that much to see 1 band.

The Flight tix for Gothenburg from Dublin would be around £ 100 at the most if you order now. flying Ryan Air. Check http://www.ryanair.com it flys to one of 2 Gothenburg airports (the smallest City airport) wich is about 15 km from city. Bus fair ca £ 7.

They´ll be selling one day tix aswell later, i´ll promise to update you as soon as i know, i´m getting ther e-mails as soon anything happens.

The Ferry port is about 500 m away from here you don´t have to walk far that would mean about 1,5 km from Slottskogen where the Festival is.

Johan said this earlier so I guess he´ll have to open his home for all the Medusas now. The sofa is MINE , the rest of you will have to sleep on the floor - or in the basement
