The Wednesday, March 14th Thread

Okay. First New York show is almost here. These are the issues at the forefront of my mind.

1. Will the days off hurt or help?

2. Will the nice weather hurt or help?

3. Will the show go off on time?

4. Will the set be the same as Chicago and Boston?

5. Doors open at 6:45, when should we leave the bar and come over to the club?

6. Will I make it through the day on Thursday?

where are people congregating beforehand? I'm guessing that any bar within 5 blocks is a solid bet, but any places in particular?

Basically, it's up to us. If we throw the band the proper amount of energy, they'll return it in kind.

NO DEADBEATS ALLOWED!!!!!!

I would say NO DRUNKEN AGGRO IDIOTS ALLOWED EITHER, but unfortunately that wouldn't do any good. It *is* a Pogues crowd, after all.

I'm not going until the Saturday show and I doubt if I'll be sane by the time it comes around. I've done very little work this week, and FULLY blame the Pogues... DAMN YOU! :lol:

Agree with all but the 8:45 bit. If you amble in at 8:45 you will be stuck in the back of the crowd. Many die hard fans get in early and stake out their position at the rail. I think that's what I'm shooting for on Saturday. Dead center.
