Brilliant pics, Sean! :) Thanks for sharing. I love especially the Shane + Andrew + drumkit snaps - a perfectly captured moment!

Philip posted earlier...no female lead = no fairytale. Still a great show.

Sean would it be too much to ask if I could use those photos myself? I will give you credit and all I just want to put them up because friends wanted some pictures from the shows and mine all came out crappy. If not thats cool I just wanted to check first because its your intellectual property etc etc.

Still trying to figure this one out myself...couldn't get my cam/phone out until the bouncer had already picked it from the guy's hands.

I was right there when this fellow and his lady friend came over to the bouncer and tried to get the trophy back, which was not happening. They were told that no one had any idea where it was. The gentleman was getting quite sarcastic with security which was A. Dumb, as he was trying to get his item back, and B. Dumb, because he brought a FUCKING 25 POUND TROPHY INTO A MOSH PIT!!!

Still, it seemed to mean something to him, so I hope he got it back.

A couple cell phone pix...

Post Mon Mar 12, 2007 5:22 pm

These are from Friday's show...wanted to make sure my "good" camera was a safe bet before trying to bring it. Those pix will be posted on the March 10th Avalon thread.
Anyway, both shows were great and i'll never be able to thank Philip for his hospitality, nor will I be able to thank Philip, Shane, Spyder and the boys enough for the wonderful shows and music. In lieu of this...I simply say Thank you.

You must have been standing beside me, if these were taken on the floor.

The wife and I were standing on the steps right next to the floor. Originally when we got there we were on the floor but quickly realized between spilt beers and drunken desires to get as close to the stage as possible, the first step would be a bit safer...plus with the bouncer right there it was added "protection."
The whole reason we were in Boston for the show was due to the kindness of Philip after a nasty incident last year in New York...being careful became more of a priority for us this time, did NOT want to miss another show.

You were right by myself and Corey Mac. You were talking to him for a bit, and at the end also. I was his heavy buddy in the leather jacket.

And I do remember your mix-up with the tickets last year. Philip is a man of the people.

Was Corey Mac the one I gave some gum? I talked with a few people in the area but I think the only person I talked to on the floor was a guy who asked about some gum.

There was no ticket mix-up last year, I got kicked out for "starting a fight," which I somehow did while taking a picture. It was ridiculous, but this weekend totally made up for it.

Yeah, he was excited it was Cinnamon Ice, or something. I forgot how he described his mouth prior to you offering the gum, but with Corey, it was fairly graphic.

As for last year, I recall Phillip helped out someone who had a ticket issue.

Yes it was descriptive and since I didnt' want to smell that either (nor do I want to offend any Medusians)...we'll just leave it at "fairly graphic."

I see you posted to this thread, "Saddest Day Ever", but I didn't add my story till later on. It stunk. But like I said, this one totally made up for things.
