never been to Avalon, what should i expect?

beer & a burger before....where to?

headed down a gain from Maine, and unlike last year, i don't have to drive home after!

any set lists from the past two nights....is it safe to assume we'll see similar to the chicago lists i've been seeing?

too bad waxie's dargle didn't carry over....but i won't complain!

Expect one hell of a show in one big-assed place. Expect the place to erupt when "Streams" begins and to stop erupting sometime after "Fiesta" ends...

My vote would be Boston Beerworks at the end of Landsdowne St. Good burgers, great beer selection, close enough so you won't freeze your balls off.

Yes.

been to the beerworks a handful of times, but isn't it pretty safe to expect it packed on a saturday evening>

won't be getting on the road until later than expected, so who knows what we'll do....

does it pay to get to avalon early for GA, or is it not a huge deal?

I would say it pays to see William Elliot Whitmore, but if you're not too concerned about that, then I don't think it matters all that much. It gets jammed, but if you're crafty, you can work your way through the throng.

And, yes, Beerworks would be jammed, though not so much that early in the evening. You could also ventrue up to the Mass Ave. area and grab something there...there's a plethora of options available for food and boozin'.
